Global Gateway University Holds 3rd Commencement Ceremony in the Philippines [Tagaytay, Philippines]
Global Gateway University (President: Dr. Earl Haskins) celebrated its 3rd Commencement Ceremony in the Philippines on June 11, 2025, at the Taal Vista Hotel in Tagaytay. The event marked another significant milestone for GGU¡¯s Philippine campus, now in its third year of operation.
A total of 14 graduates were honored during the ceremony, representing programs from undergraduate, seminary (Master of Divinity), and doctoral levels. This year's graduates included 1 undergraduate, 5 Master of Divinity, and 8 doctoral degree recipients.
Missionary Noh Suk Park, the Director of GGU Philippines, delivered the commencement address. In his message, he encouraged the graduates by referencing the biblical account of David:
¡°Just as David was established as the king of Israel at Hebron, surrounded by the armies of the tribe of Manasseh, you too must be established as soldiers of God, fully prepared for the Kingdom¡¯s mission.¡±
He also expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying:
¡°It is truly overwhelming to witness our third graduation ceremony here in the Philippines. I believe that through this work, God is expanding His Kingdom and pouring out an unending passion for missions among us.¡±
The Philippine campus of GGU serves as the Asia branch of Global Gateway University, which is headquartered in the state of Missouri, USA. Over the past four years, GGU Philippines has offered Bachelor¡¯s, Master¡¯s, and Doctoral degree programs to equip and train local pastors and Christian workers.
Looking ahead, GGU remains committed to its mission of training and sending out devoted leaders who are called to serve in mission fields, churches, educational institutions, and both public and private sectors. The university aims to raise up global servant-leaders who will go beyond the Philippines to impact the nations.
